best place to ground for parking bypass on indash dvd

The main would be the parking brake one. The others would be a ground and the acc wire for power. Before you put the dash back together test it out but that should work. And my switch only has two positions but yours will most likely still work anyways. Test it out. Also, if something happens and ur dvd stops working, I blew a fuse when I was testing mine out. If that happens, its the fuse behind the pocket to the left of the steering wheel, the radio one. You should be fine.

well i tried it out in my IS3 when i switched all my audio equipment over and it didnt work...i put the brake wire to the middle prong, and the power and ground wires to the 2 on the outside and tried flipping the switch both ways but got nothing..just to double check i connected the ground from the switch to the ground wire in the wiring harness idk maybe thats the problem..where did u connect your ground?? if i cant get this figured out im just gonna take it to rollin' sound and have them put one in lol..and as a side note i tried wiring the e-brake wire the radio ground like gasolara suggested and it most definitly did not work so thats crap

Hey. Ok, so I had the radio ground connected to the harness ground, and then i ran a wire off that to connect to the switch. Also, the first time i tried it, I had to flip the switch mad times. So try to flip it and hold it each time one to two seconds. Also, maybe try switching the wires and put the ground where the acc is and vice versa. Also, try different combos when switching it on and off (pumping it) since ur switch has more than two positions. Hope this helps.
