you don't understand how upset i get at everyone i know who can start their remote starter through a building and i can't even get it to start w/ out effort from 10-20ft away through a glass window

so i don't know what to do now..my dad is being a jerk bout it and won't do anything bout it. i might just bring it to someone else and see how much it would cost me to have them look at it and possible fix it.

Posted: Tue Jan 07, 2003 9:13 pmHave you tried replacing the battery in the remote, those remotes sit on the shelf a long time and some times they are like cars you let them sit for a while without starting and they go dead.

the other wierd thing is that, when it does work, it takes 2 starts to actually start. the first time i get it to take the signal it sounds like it's about to catch the starter, but then it stalls out before it turns over. the second time it catches and starts. really weird.
