that box is too big for that sub man. dont get me wrong, im a HUGE fan of large boxes, i mean cmon, my box is 2 87 series eclipse 15's in a 6.5 cubic FOOT 1" mdf vented enclosure. that you would swear doesnt fit in my trunk. but aluminums do not appreacite large enclosures. You will be working the motor structure 10 times harder for 2db's (p.s. humans can only detect a sound level change every 3db, so its pointless) Save the weight, and save the speaker man. they are tooo expensive to treat like that.

Raveboi- Yes the area surrounding the shop is one of the richest in the country =0p Last week we did a screen for a 16 year old girl...............in a H2 =0p yes hers.

Let me see if I got this 100% clear now.

3.5 cf total after all displacements for a vented box with a 4" diameter, 6" long port.

WortownSolara mentioned a .88 cf enclosure and brought up an issue with cone noise. ZXLNT and pro956, do you guys agree with this assessment?

I wouldn't be so confused it there weren't so many people saying so many things!

Thanks dudes...i just wish all this stuff was just written in the flippin' manual...sheesh
