i need help because i have over a 1000 watt system and if i raise the volume the highs cut off can someone please help me out

clipping can be caused by lots of things. Power wire, grounding and so on,

you have to be a bit more specific, what exactly happens, when you notice the highs cut off, do you mean, the only things producing sound are your subs?

some old sony headunits use to have a problem similar to that where the internal amp would cutoff, besides that, imo, old sony source units were great
