i heard that u can upgrade sumthing in the factory headunit to make it sound more clear like an aftermarket headunit... .. now i dunno about it playing mp3.. i'll have to ask the guys about that...

Yeah, exactly what flip said...the JBL options wasn't restricted to v6s! i4's had that option too! My only personal dislike about this system is that the factory bass is set too high!

Yes you can turn control your bass by using the control button that you have in the left side of the system.

I wasn't inquiring about "HOW to adjust"....just mentioning that even at ZERO B's JBL's factory settings are little bassy!

Just put the bass into the negative and you should be fine if you really don't like bass, or adjust treble and mids a little higher

I've got a Pioneer head unit that plays MP3s with a little plastic pocket type thingy I got off of Sounddomain for like 5 bucks. Looks flawless, really. I definately prefer it to the stock headunit since the blue display fits the rest of the blue theme my car has going :)
