Mid-bass...baffles?
I just installed my DLS MS6 speakers today, whoo they sound amazing, especially the tweeters. However, the midbass hits, but its not nice and tight like i thought it would be. I get the feeling that there is too much air in that panel and theyre just not punching like they should. I have them mounted useing the factory triangular mount, with a nice tight seal. But what can be done about all that open space? Has anyone used a baffle for the speaker, or will dynamat or deadening material be the best bet? Vibrations really aren't my problem, I just really want to tighten up that punch, becuase i know these spkrs are capable
