New speakers

Greetings and Merry Christmas!

Im putting together a speaker order and I just want to confirm the speaker sizes. I have a 2003 Solara SE with the JBL. The sizes are 6.5 component in the front and 6x9 in the rear? I know im probably gonna get flamed to search, but im in a bit of a rush.

Thanks

If my memory serves me correct you've got the right sizes. What brand/brands are you putting in? Are you putting dynomat in there too? If not you should consider it cuz it'll make it sound a whole lot better and you might as well with having the rear deck and door panels off. If you've got the cash that is.

Ive tired a few difernt types of speakers at local stores and was going to order a set of Polk dB series through crutchfield. Especialy since they have a deal on now, and i have a $20 cupon. Im just replacing the speakers. Gonna keep the JBL head unit. Dont know if I will need the dynomat?

Im sure Ill have instalation questions once they get here. Fortunatly I already have the interior diagrams for the front, and this will be the fourth time i take apart the rear to put in springs.

Good luck man.

I have Alpine Type S in each 4 corners.
And they sound great.

Tip: if Crutchfield give you the speaker harness, make sure they give you the right ones.
Cause i tired to find them for my car, but neva could find the right one.
So i cut my old ones off and used crimp connectors.

Of course get the right size accordin' to the wire size.
Cause if the speakers have wires the connect the speaker to the harness it will only be "female" connectors.
Let me know if you need help.

Ok so I got really distracted on suspension and Im just getting back to this now.... sunk too much into it....

If i use the stock Head unit, do I need to install those boxes(crossovers?) that come with the component speakers? If so, recommendations on where?
