Amp wiring kit

Quick questions for those who have installed amp wiring kits in their Solaras. Was there some grommet or hole that you could use to run the wires through the firewall or did you guys drill holes in the firewall? Thanks for the input. I have been outta town for work so I haven't had a chance to look at my Solara. I'm trying to prepare for a weekend project.

I know in my Gen 2 it was a tight squeeze in there. I drilled a new hole, there was no way I was jamming any 4 guage wire through any existing openings. Just be sure not to drill through the vacuum for the brakes, I learned that the hard way a few years ago.

I have an auto and drilled through where the clutch resevoir would be, fit 1/0 gauge in there.

THis hose goes under the glove compartment, no need to drill thru any metal, easy to do, and easy to cover up if you dont have a system anymore...

Enlarged existing hole on driver's side firewall for 4ga. (same hole for alarm system horn wire) Used a grommet.
