Rattling noise from trunk area when playing music.

This really annoing rattling or vibration is comming from the passenger side of the car from the back speaker/trunk area, when the audio is on and the bass kicks in, it is very annoing since you can no longer listen to music without this rattle and it is really pissing me off. Anyone here know what that can be and if there is a easy way to fix it.

thanks in advance.

if it's in the trunk on the passenger side, it might be that your jack is loose. go investigate sherlock and report back in five.

That happens to me but when I look back in the seat it turns out to be the passenger seatbelt that's pressed against the plastic.

Do you have subs?

Dynamat will take care of most of your rattling. As others have said, check your spare & jack along with your spoiler.

Yeah mine does that too, and all i have is Alpine Type S speaker in the back.

Dynamat is a dampenin' sheet that makes metal no vibrate as much when you have aftermarket speakers.
Only downside it get heavy when you put it on, ie more weight, and cost.

this is dynamat:

the trick is to put the dynamat around the speaker and not over it.

As SolaraGuy22 said, it was more than likely simply the rear passenger belt against the plastic, especially if it corrected itself. This is really annoying, but its probably the only cause of rattling with a factory system.

I had a 15" Solo L7 hooked to a 1500w 1-ohm stble amp.. That sh!t bangged with the hardness.. but yeah I got some mad rattle. I found that it was many things... It started with the seatbelt against the plastic part behind the seat, easy to fix. I also had my trunk dynomatted with about 15 pounds of that stuff from my previous subs (2x10" solo baric) which also banged hardcore.. Anyhow after awhile, I figured the noise was coming from inside the cover above the rear seat, but right below the rear window.. The cover with the 2 speaker grilles on em.. You open that sucker up and theres a few hex head screws in there.. tighten them babies up and that should get rid of some of ur rattle, like it did mine.

I'm getting the same issue, except it's probably because I blew my speakers (because now only the highs come out of that speaker ).

Solution?
