I finished the right door. Now all I gotta do is install the amp, and the headunit. Too bad my truck's gonna be at the dealership tomorrow getting some squeeks and rattles fixed :(

nice to see you installing some of your stuff.. seems like every forum i go to you are buying selling planning etc... you must have gone through some stuff huh??

im PLANNING on doing the raammat in the doors this weekend but i still havent settled on a mid for the door..i dont know if i can fit 7" in there or not

also i like the idea of the double stick 3m and lighter plastic covering to fill the holes in the door..i was planning on using light aluminum sheet metal (i work w/ it) but this might work well..your not concerned about the tape releasing in the future? 3m hold well if it isnt around heat..

Sweet... I'd probably get a Tacoma with AWD too, but I don't have much dough, much less even a new IS with the AWD. My folks are moving up to Portland (I'm still mentally debating it though), but if I do, I still want performance in the [constant amounts of] rain.

Nice setup, though :D.

Like you wouldn't believe.

Let me list my amps I haven't installed, but sold.

PPI A300
PPI A100.2
Helix HXA500Q
Rodek (forgot the model number)
Esoteric E7054
Monitor 1 MK2.70 (3 of those)
And most recently Xetec 4G600MK2, well I installed that one for a few days, and yep, you guessed it SOLD! :drinking:

I'm probably forgeting one or two.

Check out the Phaze Audio/PPI Tubedriver. 6.5" 2.5" Mounting depth, 4 ohm efficiency, plays nicely up to 4KHZ. and 45 bucks each shipped off ebay seller RobotUnderground. I like mine so far. (this is of course if you are going active)

The tape was really just to hold it in place until I was able to cover it with Raammat and make a complete seal.
