Hey Bro,

What is your application? In other words, what are you using this AMP to run (SUBs or Full-range speakers)?

If your going to run some subs, then i go with a D-class AMP. The D-class amp will be more efficient in power consumion and push more raw power to the subs. (Alpine MRD-M1005 or Rockford Fosgate Power T10001bd would be my choice if they are to used to run some SUBs)

But if your application is going to be some components or full range speakers (point source speakers). Then I'd go with an A-class or AB-class speaker. Somthing with a lower THD rating than the .1 THD harmonic distortion. Also try to look for an AMP with a high Signal to Noise Ratio. Talk about Sonicnova... (Profile would be the choice out of the three judged on the specs or from observation the Audiobahn A8002T from Crutchfield)... :P

Good luck Brotha... 8)

Profile amps are a good budget brand. Check out www.millionbuy.com

They've been benchtested to put out about 90% of rated power.

Ok Bro,

Just from given circumstances of price and performance (500 WATTs)... IMOA, it would be that the POLK MOMO. The Polk AMP has the nice 18db LOW/HIGH pass octane slope. This gives you more flexability in tuning your SUBs. :D

I assume these were the AMPs you were refering to... Here is the link below.

However the direction you go good luck Brotha...

My friend has Profile... 6 channel total 400 watts only.... But when we compare car by car (solara VS Civic) his speakers were louder, and clearer then my stock JBL with an infinity reference sub pushed by a 520 watt amp... His car was all stock component with a JL 10 inch sub... So its a pretty good amp..
