Nice choice, you will LOVE those subs.

What's your budget to spend?

I would get this amp.

It's an efficient class d with very good soundquality. Awesome price for the quality of the amp. I can't think of anything better for the price.

If you don't mind spending more I would rec. a few other amps that were class a/b instead.

I'd agree. 600w at $240 is a good deal. I dont have anything I could offer you for a better price...

ok thanks for the advise but like i said b4 sound aint my best topic the ID subs are rated at 250 rms 4 ohms the amp is rated at 200watts continuous power into 4 ohms, 400 watts into 2 ohms and 600watts into 1 ohm. does that mean i can only get 200 watts out of it or can i get all 600 at 1 ohms and if so how do i go bout it
once agains thanks for ur advise

Connecting the voice coils of each driver in parallel (+ to +, - to -) and the drivers themselves in parallel (+ to +, etc.) will result in the following impedances:
Dual-6 Ohm Subwoofers: 1.5 Ohms
Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofers: 1 Ohm
Dual-2 Ohm Subwoofers: 0.5 Ohm

Image

Your amp will see a final ohm load of 1 ohm. That amp is benched to see 650 watts rms x 1 @ 1 ohm

Each sub will see 325 watts rms will they will be able to handle fine.

The MTX subs will probably be a little louder, but I guarentee you the ID's will have some of the best sound quality you've ever heard. And with that amp they will get plenty loud. Probably louder than you can tolerate.

You made a very wise choice I would have taken those subs over any MTX, and a hell of alot of other subs too. It's not all about having the loudest subs, it's about having accurate, deep bass that will keep up with any kind of music and not distort.

I would be getting those subs myself if I wasn't going with Two IDMAX12's. For the money those IDv3's can't be beat. (SQ wise)

Good choice. Have you had an enclosure made yet? If not I'd recomend to get ahold of this guy name Marv. He's a regular on www.elitecaraudio.com He makes some of the best boxes, and has alot of experience with building boxes for those exact subs.
