Have you tried burning your MP3 files onto a DVD and had it work? I've always wondered if thats possible. Thanks!

got the avx2494, but havent tried that yet. however would make transferring songs a lot easier.

yes Sir, it works wonder.

I have the new Lanzar DVD player (don't remember the model top of my head now, but the new one with black face, no button) that plays mp3, wma burnt on DVD. Not only that, it can also play the video music (.mpeg, not .avi) burnt on DVD as well.

the only downsize is it's hard to navigate between tracks.

Having almost 1000 mp3 songs in one DVD, wonderful but you're better let it shuffle cause going to track 769 is pretty touch deal.
