between 3 way speakers, and component speakers?

i was recommended to get component speakers instead of 3 way speakers, any reason why or am i just talkin' to an idiot?

Oh hell yeah, components are the way to go man. And if you must use a coaxial speaker use a 2 way.

What kind of amp are you going to be using for the front speakers and what is your budget for the components set?

If you are planning on using the headunit to power the speakers I'd say just go with coaxials.

well, i was talkin' with a co-worker of mine who used to work at an audio shop and he recommended getting a 4 channel amp for the speakers.

i was thinkin' of gettin' something like this:

I was in my friends car with 4 ways...It thumps hard in the front. Tweeters, 6 1/2 and a 5 1/4 or something like that.. Its like having mid bass and highs right in the front.

Those aren't bad components. Powerbass makes some cheap components at a good price. It all dependso on your budge really. If your interested email me.
