How do u remove fog lights i wanna remove my left one too see how much the difference is with my cai if alot more air comes in please tell me how....

A mesh won't help keep the rain out, only large debris. you need a shield which defeats the purpose of what you're trying to attempt.

Don't put mesh unless you want it for looks, water would go right through the mesh. Plus the filter sits up there pretty high. I think people worry too much about water getting in there. You would have to get a pretty big splash to get up in there I would think. Now you might get some water in the way of spray from following another vehicle close on the highway. I go right past worrying about that and spray the water in myself.

I have water injection that is injected just before the throttle body. -JoeB

Water is something i'd worry about if you live in an area that FLOODS. and if you need to go through slightly flooded streets. yeah, the mesh is appreance...what are you using for the cai..i know some rolla buddies of my who did it back in the day with a dryer hose..and all they got was LOUDER...than any performance gains..(but then again this was cus' we're in TX with NO cold air to being with...)

jhbhatia is right. there is no way you can hydrolock your engine unless your CAI is totally submerged in water. in fact, water vapor can actually be good for your engine, as it often cleans out dirt and grime. so dont worry about water splashing onto your filter. i drove with my foglights out on my acura legend for 2 years, and my filter was directly behind the opening. and i had been in some pretty big rainstorms. i think the mesh might look good though....

Yeah I don't think he has a dryer hose type deal for a CAI.
