Idle Adjustment?

My IAC Started to stall out my car so i tried replacing it and dam screws were stripped.

Being a budget type guy, i bought a used throttle body with all sensors and such.

The car starts but my idle is at 1500. This is after the car is fully warmed up.

I keep reading that the computer controls the idle and there is nothing i can do.

What you guys think? Can my IAC sensor not work because it was from a different year?

it has different part number....
22270 20020- the stock one.
22270 0A040- the new throttle body.

Yeah, sounds like something's not telling it to idle down. Were u getting any codes? Have you tested the new iac sensor?
Have you checked if those part numbers are compatible? I'll double check for ya, what's your year, engine, trim, tranny?

No codes.

I just picked up a used TB from a yard. This time its from a Manual Solara. Im sure this will work.

Kind of late but If its at 1500 you need to adjust the idle screw on the throttle body.

No idle screw.

Manual 1mzfe needs a specail Tb and Sensor.
