Replacing hood, grill and bumper

Hi guys,

Haven't been here for a while! I need to pamper my lara... been abusing her for a while

So i had a mini accident and the bumper, hood and grill need to be replaced. I am looking on ebay, and it looks like i can find what i need there (primed).

Any thoughts ideas or is there anything to keep in mind when buying/installing these? like to buy replacmement clips or such?

You in Montreal right? I can get you a white gen1 bumper for 100$...

I need a green one... can i just repaint the white one without having to remove the old paint?

you prob could, and would TEMPORARILY have a nice matching bumper.

BUT without properly sanding and removing the clear coat and white paint, you risk the top green paint to have poor adhesion thus causing it to chip and peel WAY easier and revealing the white paint underneath.

therefore it is highly recommended that you sand the existing clear coat and white paint off, apply the primer, base coat, and clear coat in a well ventilated area to give the best results.
or you can just take it to a shop ;]
