Tell me how bad these valves are.

Tell me how bad these valves are.

This is the exhaust cylinder number 2. I know it's a bit hard to see, but it looks a little bit gunked up and maybe a little wet. All other exhaust cylinders look sort of dirty, but dry. Picture looks worse than in person.

Here is exhaust cylinder number 4.

It's the same with the intake side. Cylinder number 2 looks different from the others (a little bit wet).

This is a 1mzfe. I have not checked for sludge yet.

If needed, I can use a better camera to get a better shot.

Thanks.

When the engine is cold and you start do you see any blue smoke (assuming you are using non-synthetic oil)? Did you do a compression test?

This engine is not running at the moment because I am swapping it into my Corolla. I took it from a donor car and the donor car did not appear to smoke at all, but I only started and drove the donor car a couple of times. It ran really well. No I did not do a compression test.
