DRL wont go off after disconnecting the gray plug.

as the title says, i've disconnected the gray plug of the passenger side by the firewall, right behind the diagnose plug, but the lights still come on when it gets a little dark, and i have no control over it.
can someone please help out?
its a 99 SLE V6

In your car there is a dome at the right side on your dash. Pop that up and disconnect the sensor.

No problem. Did you do the Independent Fog light Mod yet?
