The landscapers turned on their sprinklers while i was at work and didn't notice it until the next morning that i ha some oxidation spot all over the rear of my car. Does anyone know how to take this out if washing the car doesn't?

Does it look like water stains? Also, do you guys have hard water where you live in CA? I know this may sound silly, but if you didn't try to wash them off with some car soap, give that a shot. Honestly though, if it's hard water spotting it could take awhile to get it off. Here in FL where I live our water has a high limestone concentration that makes for awful water spotting that just takes time to go away. You could try some clear coat conditioner also. Do you have a picture?

my friend had a 69 camaro, red, everytime it got wet the water would leave spots all over the car, they were hard to get off but he found a way, unfortunately i dont remember what he did, but it was some stuff he rubbed the car down with almost like a wax job, it did the trick though.

edit: a quick google turned up this:
