Engine Trouble

Postby danielsle99 » Sun Jun 13, 2010 9:22 pm

I just had my valve cover gasket replaced which made a pretty big mess. I replaced my spark plug, coil, and wires. My solara started to run funny so i checked out my camshaft sensor and there was oil all over it. So i cleaned it and its still running rough. It idles rough while in drive and reverse but it is pretty steady in park and neutral. When i accelerate it sputters and acts like it wants to die but keeps going. The computer test came up with P0446, P1133, and P1135. Could the camshaft sensor be the cause of all of this, due to the fact that it was probably damaged when hot oil was all over it. Or are these symptoms of some internal engine issues? I would just try to replace it but Im short on cash and not to sure this is the cause. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
