I think KILLA CAM is experienced on this. Ask him.
I think they're the same, but I'm not 100%.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

they won't be the same because the place where it goes up for the B-pillar is in a different place, not to mention the fact that the 4dr has to go under another door threshhold where the solara doesn't, so the carpet will be different for the back, too. otherwise they're probably similar/identical across the center tunnel and front floorboard area. only way to know for sure would be to put the two side by side, and most junkyards probably won't let you do that... :/

^They are not different. I have an OEM Gen 1 Solara carpet in my Gen 4 Camry.

I bought an aftermarket carpet from www.autoupholsterykits.com awhile back for my 4dr Camry. It was a pain in the *** cutting out all the holes for the seats to bolt down, vents, seatbelts and everything else.

You can make the carpet work in the Solara b/c I remember a member on the forum doing it here awhile back with the aftermarket Camry carpet, you'll just have to cut a lil more here and there.

The carpet will form to the Solara when you leave it in overnight and let it sit. I wouldn't suggest taking a heat gun to it but sitting in the sun works good.

Heres a few pics of how the carpet looks.

Hope my 2 cents helps you out.

I've had 97 Camry mats in my 01 solara. They fit fine, except I think the drivers side "clip" doesnt match the hole.
