1st off, do you know what Grammar means? PLEASE learn it.........I need my eye's checked after reading your post.

With that said, why not use the OBX headers/y-pipe? they are cheap and pretty good. Only bitch is installing the read header.

The stock y-pipe is designed for good exhaust velocity and maximum ground clearance, which is why it jogs to the front before heading back to the rear of the car. The greatest inefficiency of the stock setup is the size coupled with a flat spot at the y-pipe's lowest point.

sorry to those who got affended by my grammar I'm at work posting this off my cell phone and i thought we was here to talk cars not give english leassons.

The reason im not goin wit the OBX is because he willing to do it for free and I've had him do weld before and seen other stuff hes done and hes good. So wat would be the benifits any hp or tq gains or losses?

if you're going to go through all the work of cutting and re-welding for something that may only be minimal gains, just buy something thats been proven to work. You got to pay to play. Why run nitrous and then cheap out on the exhaust side?

^x2.

If your going to do all this custom fabrications for something that you might not be happy with. Might as well spend a few hundred bucks and get something already for the install.
I would go with the OBX headers.
Adam(ASG14) has a Dat's Y pipe for sale and its brand new. For a very good deal.

tell your buddy to build you a custom y pipe form scratch. Dyno it, if it makes less hp and tq than your stock y pipe put the stocker back on.
