alright so when i get home from college i'm thinking about fixing up the few dents and scrathes with bondo and primer. since i have the tan leather interior and my car is already white, most likely i'll go white again. even though i'd love black i think it would look too weird with the tan interior, but i've never seen it so its just my opinion in my head. so anyway, what other colors do you guys think would look good with the tan interior?

*this all depends on my cash flow situation at the start of summer by the way lol

Most black solaras have tan interiors, so it definitely wouldn't look funny.

I'd stick with white so you don't have a mismatching engine bay. White is a clean color anyways.

i think i may just go black. the cars i'm finding that are black with tan interior aren't the same color, but similar. to me our tan is like a khaki color sort of. and if i had stock rims on my solara, i think it could easily be mistaken with someones grandmas car. black just looks so more aggressive than white, and shows a LOT less dirt (i don't even bother to wash it in the winter, so it's currently gray haha)

This color would also look good with Tan interior since the color is kinda the same:

I'd say go with the white again, you will pay a lot extra to get the engine bay done/ door jambs

black sand pearl and DWP are two of the greatest solara colors IMO. mine was black with tan and it looked great. i would say stick with DWP, but be sure a good body shop does the work as it is a difficult color to properly match.

Now would be the time to go for something a little more exotic if you're repainting the whole car.

I say go for something different, definitely not white though. I say like black, burnt orange, an agressive looking red, the metallic toyota blue.... just be different.

The Diamond white pearl is my favorite. Right after that is the Black Sand Pearl...which is what I own.

Is diamond white pearl and artic frost pearl the same paint or different?

I was going to suggest go with the artic frost pearl since that special paint color looks REALLY good when the sun is shining on it or at night by a streetlight (it has that glow). That way you don't need to paint under the hood, trunk or interior.

no offense, but white takes away from the sportiness from the car, and makes it look cheap (to me anyways..)

Im allowed to say that cause ive also got a white Solara 8)

Yea Black does look good when it is really cleaned up, I know because I detail my mom's black Accord EX V6.

None taken but I say white adds a luxury look to the car and does NOT make it look cheap (to me anyways..)
