I think 215 is way too thin.

215 vs 225 shouldn't change the sidewall/ "low profile look" much at all, since that is the width. It will effect it, but not by much. 45 vs 50 would change the profile appearance and how thick/thin the sidewall appears to be.

According to tires.com, to keep within the stock rolling diameter radius range, you should run a 215/50 or a 225/50. This will keep your speedo more accurate- it will read higher with a 45 series tire, since the overall diameter will be smaller. I ran 225/50/17 tires on my 17" enkei wheels, when I had them on my Solara.

I'd love to help but I dont have my wheels in front of me at the moment. If you pass by and see them check the tire size.

yeah i know i meant that 215 is too thin for me. i would much rather run a 225, a 45 series is what im reffering to a "low profile" look, i dont like hitting bumbs and hear that nasty clunk sound. i like it to be smooth.
