hmm. whenever i turn on my headlight, there seems to be a dim light on the battery thingy on the odometer. anyone know how to fix this?

battery dying? Alternator? I'd start with those. Check voltage at the battery. Should be 12.5 to 12.8 volts with the car off, and about 13.6 to 14.3 running.

Check your battery terminals first....make sure they're not corroded to $hit, or loose.

You can get it tested by a parts store, but start with the battery. If the battery is great then move on to the alt.
