When i purchased my lara it didnt come with a keyless remote, so i purchased and brand new one. I used the programing instructions it came with but i cant get it to program. i have the blinking light on the cluster and this light down there but that light doesent blink. is this an aftermarket alarm? is that why it wont program? Thanks

Yes, that is aftermarket. Look up in the dash above the pedals and see if you can find the brain box for the alarm system.

No, if you find it, you can get the model number off of it, then get the proper remote from Ebay and program it. :) Thats what I had to do to my car.

It's normally a black square or rectangle box like in the link: http://i10.tinypic.com/33ljo91.jpg

Yeah. The stock keyless should work now, but it would not surprise me if the aftermarket alarm over rides it.
