Been noticing it for a while, my Gen.1's steering wheel vibrates while braking at about 70 mph....could it be the front brake pads? checked them today and they seems pretty ok, still get pads on them...

warped rotors for sure you need to have them turned

My car did that before as well. I was told it was warped rotors. I bought new rotors from autozone, and installed them along with new pads, and the vibration went away slightly. I then had my front wheels balanced and it doesnt shake at all now. Even up to 120 mph, the steering wheel is as steady as can be. Get your wheels balanced, that seems to be the magic cure.
