Corner light doesn't turn on...

Corner light doesn't turn on...

Postby mazen222 » Sun Jul 12, 2009 10:57 am

my driver side corner light doesn't turn on anymore for some reason, the passanger side works fine,

the weird thing is that it works fine when i turn the blinker on, so the bulb is fine.

I checked the three wires that go into the socket of the bulb and they're all well plugged.

Once i opened the hood, and when i slamed it back to close it, the corner light turned on, but then turn off later that day.

I remember someone having that issue here in the past but i couldn't find their post.

Any help on this?

i would also be interested to know how to bleed my clutch fluid... my clutch pedal is acting weird

Thanks!
Maz

I had the same thing happen to me. My corner light wouldnt turn on, but the turn signal worked just fine. Its the removable socket that the bulb sits inside. Mine got wet, and the rust ate though the metal contacts. I just bought one from a junk yard for like 5 bucks. easy fix.

Try pryin' the little copper contacts up alittle more.
That should work.
Gen 4 Camry's have that problem in the rear brake light.
