does the factory rear window tint have to be remove?

i paid 200.00 50% metal 50%dyed with 5 year for scratches and lifetime for fading and bubbling waranty nothing had to be removed

the dot matrix patern on the side windows and rear have to be sanded down so the tint will stick there should be no charge for that

most of the time tinters can do the dot matrix, really depends on their experience level and if they think they can handle it. Most would probably choose to tint below the level, other might say they can do it. Personally mine turned out just fine, he didnt need to sand it, or use any special glue.

I would say get it in writing if they feel they can do it without problems they are responsible for redoing it if it ends up bubbling up. Otherwise i wouldnt put them in a position to do it if they didnt feel like they could handle it...

PS, me and Biggie got ours done for $100 in MD

I live in socal if the shop was unable to do it then i wouldnt want them to do any tint on my car

All depends on where you're from. I got 35% all around (except windshield) for $150 in NJ.

35% all the way around for $120. I think they charge 140 now. Some bubbles in the back but not enough to worry about.
