Okay so i just stumbled across my 99 Solara V6 SE about a week ago... And decided to trade in my POS 95 Dodge Neon Sport... Love the Solara. But right away, i would like aftermarket headlights and Smoked/Tinted taillights for SURE! I want head lights JUST LIKE THESE....

... And i would like my taillights tinted just like these...

Problem is, i live in oregon... and NO ONE around here knows where i can get custom headlights like these... or any at all for that matter... for my Solara. I've heard several different ways to get my tails tinted like that... Curious what the BEST and MOST PROFESSIONAL looking way to do it is?! Curious where to find those headlights?! And also lookin for peoples opinion on the fogs... I'm debating whether or not to either A. Purchase yellow'd fog light lenses, or purchase a pair of Jet Yellow 2500k 9006 Bulbls and leave the clear lenses. Car is the diamond pearl white... All your input and help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :o [/img]

Welcome.

I hear aftermarket black housing headlights have really bad light output. There's a tutorial where you can black out your own headlights using a few things from a hardware store. You get way better light output and save $. Here's the link to the 'do it yourself' tutorial. That way you only have to buy the black corners.

The guy to go to here for tinted tails is Josue (LatinUSMC). There's several guys on here with his tinted tail lights who say nothing but good things. Hopefully he stops by the thread to show his stuff.

Can't help you out with the fogs, but I'm sure others will.

So i should probably either refurb my stock headlights, or just get some OEM Chrome replacements? I think imma get Clear corner lenses too... i already replaced the lighting in the rear turn signals with clear 3157 bulbs instead of the amber ones... think that will look better?

headlights: ebay, but most of them reduce your light output. you can do a stock upgrade, but it requires some disassembly of your headlight housing.

taillights: either pm LatinUSMC (Josue) or get some aerosol tint spray and DIY. also, you could try doing it with tint film that is designed for headlight/taillights. just be sure to leave a cutout for the reverse light (the white part), or cover it with something if you do the aerosol spray so it doesn't get tinted.

foglights: you can use tint spray, you can use lexus yellow fog capsules (but this involves disassembling the foglight to put the capsule in the light housing), you can use tint film, or you can buy yellow bulbs. nokya yellow 9006 bulbs are a favorite among members here.

I highly recommend LatinUSMC to do your tails. I see he may be doing headlights too. He did my tails and I was extremely impressed. One of my favorite mods.
