Hey guys,

Two days ago I took my Solara SE-v6-stick shift for emission and inspection.
Right after I left the station this light came up. I didnt have time to take it back yet. Do you have any idea what is it and why it came up? I have never seen it before.. :o

haha, I remember this...it's hard to verify because you need someone to look at it or a reflective wall.

I had this light come on once. I checked all my lights and they were ok. About a month after the light came on one of my hids stopped working. The ballast went and I think that the car realized the ballast was malfunctioning or something and put the light on.

I get the same notifier I have a look around and nothing. I had my brother look around, pressing and depressing the brake same thing. I've had so many cops behind me.....and none have pulled me over (for that at least). So it looks like it may be a ballast issue with my HIDs, how do you check? Because my HIDs are still on and work.

That light means that one of your tail lights is out. It's got nothing to do with your headlights or HIDs.

double check your tail lights, sometimes the bulbs look good, but they're not. Check your 3rd brake light as well. Have someone step on your brakes while you check to see which bulb is out.

make sure that both parts of the bulb are working :the running light and the brake light .it is a dual filament bulb and if only one filament burns out the dash light will come on but it will seem that the bulb is still lighting up

That surprised me because as soon as I replaced the bad ballast with a new one the light went off. Wierd
