Instrument Panel Fuse keep blowing

Postby atclate » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:59 am

Hi, my instrument panel fuse just burnt. I replaced it, and it burnt again. I read a few related posts and found out that the panel might be connected to the radio (I'm not sure how). I wonder if it could have caused by the radio I installed myself, or the LEDs I switched into the instrument panels.

Background on those mods: I changed the sound system almost a year ago, and the lights were almost half a year ago. I just brought my car to an auto shop for maintenance yesterday. Tonight I turned on my headlights, and the panels didn't light up. Is there anything I can do before I bring it back on Tuesday?

It's kinda sad to find out that the weld on the grey and black wire on my radio broke off and touched another wire and caused a short. Then it blew 4 of my 5 blue leds />_<\

It's even more sad to know that no one had any suggestions...
Anyways... thanks for reading.
