who has the alarm/keyless entry with a little black button?

I have the keyless entry that chirps once when you lock, twice when you unlock. There is a black button by the driver's left foot. I know this controls the alarm function somehow because I have accidentally "used" it to disable/enable the chirp. Now I think I accidentally disabled the parking light blink function when I lock/unlock.

Does anyone have complete instructions for this system?

What year is your Solara?
Is it a SE or SLE?

i guess it is factory (as opposed to after-sale dealer installed)

grey remote with 3 blue buttons (lock, unlock, aux) and one red panic button


i know that little black button does something with the alarm, i need help!!!

i think u turned on valet mode
hold it down for i think 5 seconds and it should go back
i forget since we traded in the highlander a year ago
