Toyota Grand Prix Edition?

Toyota Grand Prix Edition?

Postby paradiez » Thu Dec 04, 2008 2:00 am

So I just got my hands on a Gen1 solara with a TRD s/c  and I noticed on the shifter trim it says that its a Toyota Grand Prix Edition. I've looked on line and on the fourms for any info on this but didn't find anything. Does anyone know anything on this?

35 of them if i remember correctly all individually numbered.. if i remember also that charger did not come factory with it.. it was still an optional add on...

they all came w/o superchargers but, most owners opted to add one..

Long Beach Grand Prix, I don't remember them being sold only in LBC... They had the trd knob, strut bar, rear sway bar, I cannot remember what else, only came in silver.

And David is right, the charger was not part of the kit.

to the OP, nice find.

ok I can pull in my collective memory they only came with the rsb struts n springs and trd kit all manual of course these were the ones used in the grand prix and in silver

No they did not have special tuning with 220hp no charger and the wheels were optional aka the revos

The only really unique thing on it is the number plaque that's it evwrrthing else is something anyone could put on a silver sev6
