Best gen1's of all time

i have seen this on clublexus and its always fun, especially for those of us that have been around for a few years. when i was a freshman in college a good friend of mine had an 02 DWP that was simply beautiful. Tamas was a jerk, but his car was awesome. his car along with a few others really inspired me to get my solara and modify it. now that i am in the market for another one, i thought this thread would be fun.

ill start by listing the solaras that inspired me, hopefully everyone will post a few of their favorites.

1. i20solar20i - richard, your car is awesome man.... i am glad we could be boosted!!!

2. indiglosolara - kenny, i remember checking your car out before i got mine, little did i know that a few years later i would be at your garage!

3.Damon - great example of a beautiful DWP gen1 - just very well done.

4. Reggie - you are in MO and i am in AR, we should have met up sometime man! your car is sweet, great example of how a solara can be almost 10 years old and still turn heads

5.Milt - all 20 of his solaras were great - even Posh's gen 2
milt will post his own pic

6. John Tamas - a douchebag i know - but the car was a sight to see.

7. astro - fellow BSP owner

8. thealkimo - awesome DWP

9. i have to include mine, i miss the slowara!!!! with all the views on my cardomain page i sure hope it served to inspire some of you guys as i was inspired by the guys i mentioned.

yes, i would assume a gen1 would include gen 1.5s......

You forgot to mention Charinee's old Solara:

This one is my favorite, the paint color is awesome on this one. This is an excellent example of a show car.

^Man, haven't seen Charinee's pics in a while. I also nominate UltraSlowSolara (Joseph), the original turbo 5SFE Gen 1, and instrumental to the creation of the Renova grill. & STR8PYP, but many probably don't remember or know Steve.

There was also a guy on Camryman.org

I'm pretty sure he also transfered here when Camryman shutdown.

I think his name was Mark on Camryman. I don't remember what his name was here.
He had an awesome setup. Everything you can think of was upgraded. I'll try to see if I can find his mod list.

I think he was an airline pilot. Anybody else remember this guy? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

ya'll are forgetting the greatest of all... my 2000 basically stock with custom dent in the front fender. its one of a kind!
