Which Toyota or Lexus feels the best

Which Toyota or Lexus feels the best

Postby knightbird123 » Tue Oct 07, 2008 2:16 pm

All these cars feel different on the road. A camry feels much different from a Solara.

I want to know from you guys which Toyota or Lexus, you can list one from each, do you think provides the best feeling on the road when it comes to overall acceleration, shifting, performance, handling etc.....?

or

List any vehicle other than a Toyota, if you want, like Honda, Infiniti, BMW.....,

My brother's 2003 Honda Accord EX is more comfy than my Solara, more quieter and much more powerful (V6). The handling on the totally stock Accord by far is better than my Solara.

The Solara looks better than the Accord though in my opinion, and gets better gas milage.

The average mpg in mostly city with my Solara is about 25-27 mpg, with the lowest ever being 21.2 mpg.

The one time that I took note of the gas consumption of the Accord, it got only 17 mpg (calculated mathmatically) in mostly city.

if you're goin for overall performace/feel aim over the pond at germany. I will always be a diehard 3series fanactic. My old e36 was my baby, and I would give my left nut to have my dads new 07 335i 6 speed.

I've always liked the GS series from Lexus...much better than any Camry or Avalon I've ridden in in terms of performance, styling, and options.

Smooth as butter acceleration and nice comfy seats. Just what I'd expect from a Lexus.

I drive a lot of different cars at work. I do really like the GS Lexus, but the German's really do make the ultimate driving machines. I have driven I couple a Audi's, Mercedes' and BMW's that just have great road feel. Granted, I would never buy them because they're unreliable, expensive, and difficult to fix, but they drive really nice.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

my honest opinion the lexus IS drives amazing....but you can get a fully loaded Camry SE new for the price of a year old Lexus. The Avalon actually drives nice too if you want that MOB BOSS feel to your whip

I would say my personal preference involving the Toyota badge would be the Lexus LS 460, no scratch that, the LS 600h because it's all-wheel drive. The 'h' designation means hybrid but their using it to increase the 'haul ass factor' rather than being eco-friendly. Being a luxury car, it rides smooth as silk and gives my beer belly room to wobble inside the cabin. My driving preference is to cruise rather than hammer down, that way I give the honeys on the sidewalk more time to check my ride and me more time to check them out. Being that I'm in the land of hellish lake-effect snowstorms/rainstorms, all-wheel drive is a needed bonus.
