The window sills on my car look pretty faded and have wear marks. Should I change them myself or have a shop do it?

i did it myself no that hard, just annoying getting the rivets off. Plus it was cheap from the dealer..

Can you give me the steps on what basically needs to be done to change the window sills. Also is there anything I should beware of, like wires or etc.... when removing the door panel?

What tools will I need?
