Hi guys,

this morning I have (again!!!) a problem with my car.
The car was dead.. the battery has not enough juice, the starter were not even trying to start the car.
So at 5h30 AM I decided to use my gf's car to start mine with boost cable. It worked fine. Then I saw that one of my headlight is not lighting. Coincidence??

I did a run to my work and let the car run for 15 mins.. I hope the car will start at lunch! the battery is 6 months, starter too..

Do you know guys what happen?? Im confuse..
Maybe the headlights were lighting yesterday until the battery died? But why one of the bulbs is burn?

Have your alternator and solenoids checked.

Im back from lunch..

The H4 bulb was burned..so I replaced it with my old philips bulbs.

I checked the battery and the connector has lot of rust on it. I took a dremel and gently removed all the rust on the inside of the connectors,on the bolts were my sub cable is plug and on the battery itself.

I started my car and it worked perfectly, I hope it was just my headlights who drained the battery. It was rainning yesterday so maybe also the rust on the battery were the problem.. who knows!

Yea, corrosion is a enemy. Also can use baking soda and a wire brush to clean it up. You can goto advance or whatever and get some jel and put it on the terminals to prevernt or slow down corrosion.

Good to hear the bulb was just burt out and that she started up easy for you.

Yeah once you seen white wit green powder on the battery terminals, it blocks the connection between the battery and the battery cables.

baking soda + water will dissolve the corrosion.

use vaseline after you put the connections back together to delay the corrosion from coming back.
