Foggy Headlights
New here
After my 1995 Jeep Cherokee started to show its age, my mom bought herself an 08 Accord and gave me her 2002 Solara... I couldn't be happier
It's like a luxurious upgrade for me. So reliable, I get twice the gas mileage and I feel so much safer. It's obviously a little sportier too
It's and SE... I believe, with some minor modifications, like a spoiler, pin striping, sunroof, power seats, etc. The color is Lunar Metallic.... Very nice car, only 59,000 miles.
My only quips... are the integrity (lots of nicks in the paint from rocks in the road and my neighbor riding her bike too close to the car) but I attribute that to my mother's lack of waxing. Then the head lights, which are turning foggy and yellow. The tail lights, side front lights and fog lights are all clear and bright.
I've seen kits at autozone where you attach a piece to a drill and kind of sand down the exterior of the light. Does this work? How can I tell if the fogginess is caused from the oustide or from the inside?
Anybody else have this problem?
Thanks! Jill
