DIY Fuel Filter Replacement?

I can't seem to find a DIY for fuel filter replacement on here........

I need to confirm the location, I think I know where it is but for some reason the filter I have is larger than the one I see. Anyone have photos of the location?

thx

the fuel filter is a bit below the MAF sensor on the airbox/intake.

Its bolted onto the driver side area.

an easier way is to follow the lines from the fuel rails down to the filter itself.

Follow the fuel rails to the fuel line and down to the filter.
Drivers side, under (approx. 12-18") the Brake master cylinder on the inside frame rail.
It should be a 14mm for the under side line and I think a 17mm (?) for the filter bottom, be sure to use a hydraulic line wrench if you have it.
On the top remove the cover to reveal a plastic clip, squeeze together and it pops out.
You line will have a residual pressure, so have something to protect yourself and catch the gas.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

That's where I though it was. I bought a WIX filter, but it's way bigger than the one that's there. I know it probably could be installed, but is this normal??

Just put a WIX fuel filter on my car last weekend - it fit right back in the factory bracket. You sure they sold you the correct filter?
