So while looking on the drivers side for an entry way for my amp power cable. I noticed a black box/console that said Shock Sensor and For Use With Remote Starter Upgrade Kit. Is that something standard in 99 Solara SE V6 versions or is it an aftermarket? I just noticed it. I did a search but didnt find anything that related closely enoguh.
( Obviously there is a lot about this car I am learning ) Thanks.

aftermarket. they'd never put something like that stock in a place where you could easily kick it, esp by your feet

Yeah there appears to be a bit of hack electronics in this whip. First the sunroof thing, then my spoiler brake light, now this, its like an Indian Jones Movie in there

Oh well Ill see if I can figure out what model it was and go from there. Thanks.
