I am Converting from 1 to 1.5!!!

Some good does come from accidents.
After my run in with someone who ran a red light. I am in need of a new front fascia. After meeting with an insurance agent who took a look at my car, I will be getting a check of 1600 dollars to repair the damages!


I will be changing the front end to all Gen 1.5 parts!
I do need a little help. So far I know ill need...

New:
- Grill
- Headlights
- Front Bumper
- Fog Lights
- Corner Lights

2pc. 9005 Wiring Harness
2pc. 9006 Wiring Harness

My Questions are:
Will the headlights & corners be a direct fit (bolt-on)?

I'll be taking this to a Toyota Repair shop, do I need to let the know anything?

Do the Gen 1.5 foglights use the same harness as the Gen 1?

Im considering ordering the parts from www.PartsTrain.com
has anyone used or have any reviews on the site and its parts?

if you have any $$ left over you should get a trd kit... your solara, with the gold color would look sooooo sick with a trd kit...

Eagle, I looked at the bumper from your posted site. $153.00 sounds kinda cheap to me. It dosn't say what it's made of and there's no tech specs for it. Anyone used one of these before? Or this company. And the truck bumpers they're showing looked like those real light weight ones too. Just me but I'd try and check this one out good before ordering. Could be cheap Polyurethane or plastic. Oh and by the way, we both need TRD skirts.

I doubt there will be money left from $1600, at least not enough for a TRD kit.

sick . id wish to have a gen 1 kit, but the fact there is not grille (custom one) avail yet is what is holding me off, there is a gen 1.5 here that used to ride at my school lowered on revos, and a kit.. but I think he graduated so no more.. im the only one there now..

Yea I understand what your saying, the only way it does sound legit is because the Gen 1 bumper is $183.00 and that was the quote from AllState agent and from factory.
