problems with lights

Postby prsolara » Thu Mar 06, 2008 6:12 pm

today i installed some led lights into the corners lights of the car, but now they don't work and also the tail lights don't work. Dont know yet if it is a fusible or any electrical problem. Does someone also haved this problem? i think that my car have some electrical issues...

ps: i think that is a electrical problem because when i am listening to music, sometimes it looses power and sounds rare, like it slowdown the volume automatically, and i put in the past days some hid but the light output isn't good, like the car doesnt send the power that it required. If someone would help me or have an explication it will be appreciated because this is pissing me off:evil:...

thanks!

leds have reverse polarity, so try 'flipping' the led to the other side, and if it still doesnt work, check the fuse, u might have blown it. it happened to me a year ago when I was switchin my license plate lights to led, and I blew a fuse, simple fix.. hope it's the same for you, either one of the two.
for your hids, i dont know, maybe it's cuz the hids need to be burned in and now the color isn't as intense?? thats normal. but if you are talking about brightness.. I'm not sure because if you have 10000k or whatever it wont be super bright on the road cuz ur seeing mostly color, not lumens.
for your radio, check the wiring if it's tight, etc..

basically, check everything, battery, alternator.. etc..

good luck.

thanks jeff, yeah tomorrow i will check the fuse... about the hid, i know if the k are higher are less brights, but the hid no matter what K (kelvins, 6000, 8000, whatever) are, they are like very noticeable in the road, you know, that u look the road and it looks more brighter that the halogen (obvious) but mine, i dont know, they dont look bright like the others cars i seen. If i get some time i will snap some pics and them u will know what is the thing that i mean... thanks!!!!!!!!!
