I have a 100% stock 2002 SLE v6 convertible and every time we get heavy rain the drivers side low beam goes out!! please help! is it a expensive repair or a DIY job? the car is up for inspection in nov ( NJ). Another thing the car also has 130900 miles is that a factor with the age of the wiring??

It sounds to me as if there's a short in the harness caused by the rain water. Check the wiring, make sure they're all adequately shielded and plugged in tight. Good luck.

I have a '02 SLE V6 convertible too. Great car. :)
