Soooo the other day i was leaving work and forgot something. I decided when i was going to park again id go around to the back this time. Bad idea. Some ass was coming from the back taking up both driving lanes and not looking. I pulled out and sat there waiting for him to move but he never did and kept coming. I didnt have any room to go around him because if i tried to i would have gone up on a curb. Anyways this is what my baby looks like at the moment.....

Needless to say he's going to be paying for the damages. I need a new door and new fender. I personally think the fender can be fixed but the few places I went said they i need a new one. Its very hard to even look at the lara till its fixed lol.

Oh sh!t... Sorry that happened. On the other hand, I was like, "who the hell would punch a girl (as in a human female)? I'm flying down to kick his ass!" But you're lucky, because in SoCal they'd gun it... When someone scraped my rear fender I've never saw an old Asian lady drive that fast in my life :lol: .

Yeah i was very happy he didnt take off but if u saw where the accident happened u would see he didnt really have much of a choice but to stay haha. I got outta the car just throwing out every swear word i knew. I think some came out in italian too lol. Anyways yeah im gonna hoepfully be getting a decent amount of money from his insurance. This way i can fix it for like 1400 and pocket a little too. Yeah sorry about the confusing thread name but i consider my car like my girlfriend haha. Spend the money on it and get the pleasure of driving it ya know lol.

Yeah at first when i saw the police report i was flipping out because the way the cop described what happened in it he made me sound like i cut this guy off when that wasnt the case at all. I called my insurance and his explained to them what happened and that i had pictures. They were really cool about it and understood completely so yeah im glad everything is working out.

Ouch sorry to hear about your car/girl. At least it's getting fixed haha.

I remember when I got my rental I started off with the new Sentra (but I wanted the mustang). Then brake squeak had me going back to Hertz for an exchange. They gave me a Sonata. Than a flat tire had me going back to Hertz AGAIN when they finally got the Mustang hahaha. Mustang for the price of a Sentra. I drove it for about two months...insurance wasn't too happy about the receipt though lol.

^^^ You should have acted dumb and said it makes too much noise plus throw in the "fear for my life"/unsafe vehicle thing. It usually works for me.

</thread jack>

Good luck with your repairs!

Actually I did... 14 repair attempts on other parts of the car, being stranded twice and one BBB hearing later, Nissan bought it back, and that's how I got the Solara... But you're right, it was a death trap; I felt safer in my 91 Buick with no airbag/ABS and an alt-belt that needed a new tensioner (fell off when you drove too fast over puddles).
