What year did CA-spec, 5spd 1MZ Solaras get A/F sensors

Just what the title says: Does anyone know what model year Toyota switched from regular O2 sensors to wide-band A/F sensors on the Calif. spec 5spd V6 Camrys and Solaras?

Need this info for an engine swap project. Want to be able to use regular O2 sensors if possible.

I've got an '02, the last year they mated the 5spd to the 1MZ; if you can tell me how to look at tell the difference between the two, I can try to figure it out for you.

I thought all cali spec Solaras have A/F sensors instead of O2 sensors, and A/F sensors was something that was needed to comply with CA emissions. My 00' has A/F sensors and is cali spec, but its an I4 Auto.

I have a 2000 Camry V6 5-speed it was purchased brand new in San Jose. It uses O2 sensors and not A/F it is my understanding that all 5-speeds have federal emissions.
