On the back of each headlight housing are two 8mm bolts.
One is located low on the housing toward the radiator and has a gear-type washer. Turning this bolt clockwise will bring either light down, turning counter-clockwise will bring either light up.

The second set of bolts extends from the housing an inch or so and is located toward the corner lights. On my solara the bolts were covered by a gray plastic cap which I popped off with a flathead screwdriver. Rotating this bolt clockwise will turn the beam right, turning counter-clockwise will aim the beam left.

very back side.. they look like disks w\ ribs.... its hard to explain.. there should be a plastic cover over the adjustment piece.. those plastic cylinders come off.. .then you can adjust

park facing a wall, very close, and mark the beam locations on the wall with tape. back the car 20 feet from the wall - your lights should be a few inches down and to the right of the original marks. you do not want to blind oncoming drivers.

Of course you do... its right here... it might be a little tough to turn with your bare hands, but it WILL turn... the first couple time i did it, i ripped some skin  but itll be easier after you get it spinning... be sure to park facing s wall about 30ft... be patient with adjusting it..

Also keep in mind, the driver-side beam was made lower than the passenger so as to not blind oncoming traffic

This pic is from the back of the passenger headlight

I was using my hands in the beginning, then i think i broke something in the drivers side knob and I couldnt turn it with my fingers, but if you get a socket wrench the job is 10x easier.
