Newbie Question......

Hello Everyone,
I have a somewhat silly question for you. I have recently bought a 2001 Solara SLE. The car is missing its owners manual. Well, I cannot seem to figure out how to turn the headlights off and on manually.
Right now the headlight switch with the headlight switch in the off position, the lights automatically turn on as soon as I start the car....day or night. Is there any way to keep the lights off during the day or if parked somewhere at night have only the "parking" lights on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think you are talking about your drl... daytime running lights... also, when its dark outside, your lights turn on automatically... you can turn off the drl by unplugging the plug in the engine bay... i think its a grey plug in the top left corner of the engine bay when you open up the hood... try searching for it... try searching DRL...

Good question, my 1st mod was debaging, 2nd was disable DRL
