No, I'm not from log island nor do i know anyone who lives in log island, ny :)

My cousin drives a black solara though, but she lives in Long island :P

grrr...i'm going to go get my sweat shirt!!

couple nights ago i was wearing tank tops and had the a/c on to go to sleep..last night i had all the blankets out!! crazzyyyy... :crazyeyes:

Weather is perfect over here and it'll continue to get better until November :) Then it gets freezing! Icy cold 60 degrees! <burrr>

The correct pronunciation is "Lawn Guyland". That is the actual way it sounds coming from a Long Islander. NY'ers add the "W" into quite a few words, such as "wawrsh" (like laundry), and "wawrter" (the stuff you drink). And us Lawn Guylanders always threw the "G" onto the Island instead of at the end of Long. Trust me ... I spent my first 30 some years there, and now can hear it quite well, and have been told about it quite a few times out here in California 8)
